Tell us a bit about your Baby Bunting journey so far.
My journey with Baby Bunting has been both rewarding and full of opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. I started my career in operations before progressing into a leadership role as an Online DC Supervisor. Keen to continue developing my skills and broaden my experience, I then embraced a new challenge as an Outbound Shift Supervisor.
In this role, I’ve gained hands-on experience across different areas of the business, developed a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and built valuable relationships with colleagues. My focus is on supporting team performance, driving operational efficiency, and fostering a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
What motivates you to keep learning, improving, or taking the next step in your career?
What motivates me most is the opportunity to continuously learn, grow, and make a positive impact. I enjoy stepping outside my comfort zone, taking on new challenges, and developing new skills that help me grow both professionally and personally. Seeing my team succeed, contributing to operational improvements, and knowing that my work makes a difference motivates me to keep striving for better outcomes every day.
Is there a piece of advice you’ve received that has influenced how you work or approach your career?
One piece of advice that has always stayed with me is to focus on finding solutions rather than dwelling on problems. In a fast-paced environment, challenges are a part of everyday work, but I’ve learned that maintaining a positive mindset and focusing on practical solutions leads to better outcomes for both the team and the business.
This perspective has shaped the way I approach leadership, collaborate with others, and make decisions. It helps me stay adaptable, focused on continuous improvement, and committed to achieving the best possible outcomes.
What aspects of your role challenge you in a way that helps you grow or develop your skills?
One of the most rewarding challenges in my role is balancing operational performance with team support. Every day brings different priorities, unexpected issues, and changing demands, which require adaptability, problem-solving, and effective communication.
These challenges push me to think on my feet, make informed decisions, and continuously develop my leadership skills. They have helped me grow in confidence, become more resilient, and strengthen my ability to support both my team and the business.
What do you find most fulfilling in your role at Baby Bunting?
The most fulfilling part of my role is seeing the team succeed. Whether it's achieving operational goals, helping a team member develop their skills, or knowing we’ve contributed to delivering a great experience for our customers, it’s rewarding to see the impact of our collective efforts.
